Which comes first??..

'The youth is gonna be so hyperactive, games so much, sharing so little'

Thinking about this quote, actually it IS very true. And big children are getting this too.

The world's influence to young spirits are so strong, the future masters of the world are carried off as easily as a feather blown by the wind. Even small little children don't seem to be as happy as the past in children churches, I mean, playing around and being eager to learn all about Jesus. Instead, they more keen in cartoons, video games..... things that really shouldn't be in the centre of attention, while they really are now.

The examples above are only on CHILDREN. Need I say more about YOUTH?

Movies, check. Hand phone games, check. Computers, check. Secular music & songs etc, check. Horror movies & books, check. I don't need to continue, all youths should already know WHAT'S ON NEXT.

Check on our youth service. Praise & Worship is not bad, because the youth really search for songs and yeah, sing it and mean it. And the youth loves it. So, this is not a problem.

What about the sharing?

While the youth is so earnest on getting YOUTH ALIVE, with games and fun activities, they may have forgotten, a part that they actually need to emphasize on to survive on the theme YOUTH ALIVE: liven up the sharing.

Of a whole service, the sharing is the most important. It teaches about the Bible, the figure of Jesus we should see, and what should we be. It does not only transfer knowledge of Christianity, but through teaching will it mould us to become a pure Christian, inside and out. Will we be the silver purified and refined by the Lord, till' He may see His image in us. (From the verse Malachi 3:3)

Through singing and games, we hardly see a frown in the faces of youth. but through the sharing? We can count the youth whose eyes are wide open just using 10 fingers. How does that go?

When we attend the youth service, we sing, learn and have fun. Please do make an aim in the heart: which should go first?

its been a long time~~~ again~~ sorry =D but you are going to enjoy this!! hahaahahaha

4. How did you come to know about Jesus Christ? And your testimony

Im a bad temper and naughty dudes and i hate music because it is such a waste of time before im a christian Erm, actually i attend before sunday school during childhood time when im in kindergarten sent by parent because im too NAUGHTY. But , it not helping. Im still lost and din't able to undestand the teaching of Jesus. Before I believe in HIM, my family are worshipping idol and so do I. When im 14 I remember that day, the first day i enter a church brought and encourage by my mum and dad. And it is annoying at first because, i need to wake up early during sunday and it is bored. And i began to hate them because im a bad temper boy . One day a nice bro encourage me to go for the youth. He teach me drum... giving advice and taught me everything about the church and God Word. And here Im now a new ANdersen : )

5. Tell us about your family

I had a brother . His name Adrian ..a guitarist..drummer...bad vocalist and good in study and single. Who need a good boyfriend remember give me a call. MY parent are strict which is good for us. And all of us are Christian thanks God.

6. What is your lifelong dream or ambition??

To be aN engineer building something tall and cool is my childhood ambition. Influence by Lego. Always try to build a robot.

7. What is your happiest memory??

During primary 3 I get a prize for getting TOP 3 in class. The first time i wear a tie which is not neccesarry but because one of the teacher dont know why keep calling " Mah , kamu mesti pakai tie tau, tak pakai tak dapat hadiah ya ". It is fun that day , my family came and so do my Grandpa. First time get into a big stage with 100 people looking at you.

8. What is your saddest memory??

When im a primary student which love to had a GameBoy. But parent keep refuse to buy. Keep crying for a long time .

9. What do you fear most???

Fear of dark. I saw "something" when im a little kid sleeping alone in a room . My bro was just born and he sleep with my parent. Scary.

10. What is your favourite Food

Anything with chicken, beef , or ANY meat except pork.

11. Any hobbies??

Love Drum , kicking some Football, watching Movie , mamak-ing, and also Animation

12. If you could have any super power… What would it be and why??

If Im a super human. I prefer to had power like pyshic where i can read people mind and control them and i control the world too muahahaha!!! A bad super human. But the superhero that i like is Ironman. I love robots : ).

13. Something that you always wanted but couldn’t have…??

A percussion drumset and a good health.

14. A bad habit that you don’t like to see in other people…

You dont care what you promise to other people.

Haha.. well nothing so special with Andersen Mah. Here are the list that i think is my best personality

1) Im funny and love to jokes

2) I dont like arguing or anythng that start a fight...i prefer peace by understanding

Well Andersen Mah do had many thing to improve on and had many bad habits :)

1) I lazy when doing something not important to me

3) I don't control my diet and eating pratice. I eat more than any normal people in my age do.

Spending time with God

How long does it take you to read Twilight or any other novels?

How long does it take you to read a manga or watch an anime?

How long does it take you to read all those stuff you surfed in the internet?

It’s not wrong to spend your time doing all these

While doing all these.. Did you spend time reading the word of God?

And now it’s time for some important questions I want to ask which are:

Do you read the bible daily? Do you love reading the bible?

Ok.. now I want you peeps to imagine that it was God who asked the two questions above.

Imagine God saying, “Do you love reading my words?” “Why didn’t you read my word today?”

If it was really God asking you these questions, what would your answer be?

Think.. How would you answer God?

Well you don’t have to answer me.. Keep the answer to yourself and answer God honestly..

Many times, we tend to take the word of God for granted and neglected it.

Our excuses when asked why are we not interested in reading the bible might be:
1) I’m busy! School work is piling up!
2) It’s too deep, I don’t understand what I’m reading!
3) It’s boring.. It puts me to sleep!
4) It doesn’t apply to today’s context!

Yes, it is difficult to understand the bible and trying to find time to read it is dreadful when we can do something else but we know very well that spending time reading the bible is the right thing to do as we have heard much about it from our pastors and leaders. Many times, we may have thoughts such as we want to know God more, we want to hear from God and we want to draw closer to Him. How are we going to be close to God if we can’t even spend like few minutes reading His words?

Getting to know a person, takes time. You need to spend quality time with a person in order to understand a person. If you can spend your time understanding your friends, games, books and etc.. Why not God? Doesn’t He who is our Father in Heaven deserves our time more than anything else?

Therefore, let us learn to do what is right and pleasing to God by making the effort to read His words everyday! It’s not easy.. I know.. really lols! Cause I’m trying too!

It requires much determination and disciplines!

Lets learn to love His words and spend time to understand God!

All because He deserves it!

I would like to end this post with a scripture taken from 2 Timothy 3:16-17 just to remind us about the importance of the word of God to us as Christians

“Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.”

hi everybody, i know its been a long time since the last episode~ but it is worth the wait!!!!

Part 1

Chee Yu Li, is currently 22 years old, studying in Bible College of Malaysia.

How did you come to know about Jesus Christ?
Wah.. long story... To cut it short. God brought wonderful people in my life who encouraged me and led me to the Lord.
Besides that, i personally experienced God's goodness and love during my toughest moments.
His mercy and love is undescribable that i dunno how to repay Him except to surrender my whole life to Him.

Tell us about your family
I have a dad, a mom and a younger brother


What is your lifelong dream or ambition??
My ambition before i enrolled into bible school was to be a doctor :)
haha Though there are times i do dream about it but God has a different plan for me. My ambition now is to do what God has planned for me and to make sure i accomplised it!


What is your happiest memory??
I have a lot of happy memories wor. Since i have to choose one.
I think it's the time when i celebrated my fifth birthday
only me, my brother, mother and father :)
spending time with people i love are moments i treasured very much.


What is your saddest memory??
When i lost someone i love very much.

Being young and serving the Lord is tough but one thing good about being young is the never ending energy flowing in us that always keep us so vibrant for the Lord.
Never let this vibrant sprit we gained now fades along with our age :)
